Mr. Pettine has also worked in a public library, an academic library, three bookstores, and a restaurant. 


Mr. Pettine was raised in Cobb County, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia. After graduation, he pursued a career in education by gaining a Master in Teaching from Piedmont College in Secondary English Education. His first teaching job was in Coffee County, Georgia teaching Secondary English. In his spare time, Mr. Pettine enjoys reading literature, researching history, watching films, and listening to music. He is a fan of his alma mater Georgia Bulldogs and New York Yankees. His favorite authors are T.S. Eliot, William Shakespeare, and William Faulkner.
