About The School

Crawford County High School

We are located in Roberta, a small town approximately 25 miles west of Macon, Georgia. Made up of grades 9 through 12, we are a public school with a student population of approximately 500. Although we are a relatively small school, our students have access to a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities.

We have a very successful technology/career program that includes courses in Health Occupations, Computer Technology, Business & Marketing, Agriculture and Horticulture.

Our state-of-the-art Tech Lab has robotics, animation, and other high tech learning experiences for our students. One of our TSA students recently won first place in a national competition as a result of work done in the lab.

Our teachers work to provide students with activities that stimulate a desire for academic success and enhance motivation to expand intellectual awareness. Students regularly attend field trips to museums, colleges, historical sites, plays, and competitions across the state and beyond.

Our band program includes marching band, and concert band, as well as flag corps and drill team. Band members actively participate in ongoing competitions and festivals. Our small marching band has even marched in the New Orleans Mardi Gras.

We have an exceptional athletic program at CCHS. Our football team participated in the state playoffs at the Georgia Dome for two years. We have won state championships in basketball and have outstanding programs in track, baseball, softball, and cheerleading.

Other student activities include the Art Club, 4-H, FCA, FEA, FFA, HOSA, National Honor Society, Prom Planning, Student Council, and TSA.
